Living Life Today – 4 Simple ways to best use your Power…in Everyday Life

The Living Life Today series provides a platform to think about your Life as it is Now, enjoy what you have, review and create an even better future for tomorrow”….. Short, sharp & easily digestible.

You have amazing power. This “power” is in your hands to do with it what you wish…sometimes you need to get your hands dirty, but that’s OK…hard work brings great reward.
In any day…..
  • You have the power to change your thoughts …..for the better
  • You have the power to determine the type of day that you will live, how you will live it and who you will help
  • You have the power of Choice…..in which direction you will head, what decisions you will make
  • You have the power to say Yes  and the power to say No

Don’t give your Power away by being a victim to….. circumstance, other people’s choices and demands, mindless distractions, general ‘stuff’, watching ‘the News’, if’s, buts & maybe’s, excuses…..you know the ones. Hold on to your Power and use it for “good”.

Be good to yourselves

  1. Such wonderful clarity on power- I recently told a woman that has a power position – you can use your power to either divide or bring together –

    Living in the possibilities,

  3. These are great points here. We should always remember to keep our own power and use in with in the right ways and you have outlined them for us.

Saying no is the one I am getting better at. Thanks for reminding me!
    Blessings to you,
    Debbie

  4. Hi David,

I like this line – Don’t give your Power away by being a victim. Great advice. Some of us can easily give in to other’s demands and when we acknowledge and notice we do get our power back. Great reminder!

  5. Hi David,

Yep, we are the only ones who have control over ourselves. We have the power to change our thoughts and choose the best. It all begins with making a decision to do so. Thanks for sharing my friend
