“The Living Life Today series provides a platform to think about your Life as it is Now, enjoy what you have, review and create an even better future for tomorrow”….. Short, sharp & easily digestible.
Being a Life Coach or as I prefer to be known, Life Solutions Specialist (because that’s what I provide), I speak with many who find themselves stuck on something. Not unusual.
But hey, here’s the thing. I have found people will beat themselves up either trying to find a way forward by themselves & often be frustrated by failing to do so Or….. give up completely, then be down on themselves for being a ‘failure’.
Yet….when we talk about this together, the ‘answer’ usually becomes blindingly obvious.
So being down on yourself, frustrated by not being able to ‘solve your problem’ is completely unnecessary….we have all been there.
Sharing your ‘problem’ does have it’s benefits.
The lesson: Don’t be an island…..ask for help
Be good to yourselves

Wonderful post. Yes, asking for help is something most people hesitate to do – for fear of being rejected, belittled or scoffed at. Yet, that’s only a minority. Most people are willing to help. And today, we’re lucky to get professional help for most situations. Thank you David. I loved reading this.
Thankyou for your kind words Vidya, I’m glad that you enjoyed this

Hi David,
Asking for help is an important message. So often due to stigma or fear, people try to solve big problems themselves when there are professionals like yourself and others available. Thank you for the reminder!
My pleasure Cathy,
I appreciate your ongoing support

When I shared with my coach about our Grand Adventure last week, one of the things she said to me is “ask for what you want”. I’ve been pondering that a lot to see how it is going to express itself as we move forward with this dream. This was a great reminder.
Good on you Joss,
just ask…..with intent
be good to yourself
Great post! It’s something we all need to do for others, too. I’m working on a post today that is the same idea!! Great minds….
Thanks Betsy,
